Essentially, you’ll be a design all-rounder ready to develop your existing skills by working on ambitious internal/external digital and print projects. You’ll be supporting the creative direction of internal branding and external campaigns under the guidance of our head of design. You’ll be working on anything and everything from email design, pitches, proposals and deck presentations to editorial newsletters, landing page campaigns, and sales & marketing collateral.

You’ll be a calm, open and adaptable type who can jump in and unleash your artistic flair. You’ll be hungry yet humble, and happy ‘just’ to make glorious sales presentation slides for a while … knowing that … like everything else … this could change at any time.
- Craft beautiful on-brand designs in all shapes, sizes and media
- Gather information from client (with campaign managers) to produce email creative design briefs that meet client campaign objectives and requirements
- Work creatively while adhering to client brand guidelines
- Critique design choices
- Produce design layout visuals for email/digital campaigns
- Work additionally as part of a wider team of campaign managers and email developers
- Communicate with senior team members to get their input
- Create lovely, productive relationships with people inside the organisation
- Be a rock of support as we happily work to tight campaign or project deadlines
- Not be afraid to roll up your sleeves along with the rest of the team and occasionally get stuck in on pitch deadlines which will require ‘once in a while’, not frequently, to be available during evenings/weekends
Knowledge, skills and attributes
- 2-3 years commercial design experience
- A strong understanding of branding, typography, layout and presentation best practice for both digital and print design
- Proven experience in Adobe design software (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop design)
- Experience of different digital design software including: Sketch, InVision/Marvel, Zepplin
- Strong social media skills
- Basic understanding of SEO from a design perspective
- Ability to lead projects from inception to production
- Unphased when the pressure is on and adaptable when priorities change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to take and act on constructive feedback
- Input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
- Flexibility and willingness to learn

You’ll need knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365
- And hopefully, but not essentially, a bit of CSS and Premier Pro too
