A rainforest allows itself to grow organically and in alignment with nature. And so it is with an organisation like Profusion. We’re going on an incredible, adventurous journey. There’s a pathway laid out before us but there’s huge flexibility on where we’ll end up – and that’s exciting. Diversity of thinking, psychology, energy and style is what we’re all about. Our people are highly creative and imaginative, but they don’t just want to have ideas in their heads – they are real ‘make it happen’ people, doers who carry their ideas through into the physical world. We see, do and make manifest.

Our clients trust our ability to bring them fresh ideas. We understand their commercial objectives and define them together. Then we map out communication strategies that deliver. We’re continually evolving to bring new services to market that meet clients’ changing expectations. We’re an extension of their teams, co-located in their office. A lot of organisations have a huge amount of data but no way of understanding it. We help them see where the sources of data are and build a data pond or lake into an infrastructure. Then we pull it all together and serve it up in a way that’s meaningful. But data isn’t the only way we should make decisions.

We have a strong ethical centre and drive to do what’s right by our people. This is reflected in the collectively humble, diligent, hard-working and fun-loving nature that’s inherent in the Profusion tribe. And the desire to build deep, lasting relationships with our clients. We’re in this business to be the best we can be, and enjoy ourselves in all that we do.

Our heritage

Profusion is far from ordinary and so are the people who are part of its unfolding adventure and story. When our founders Guy Marson and Russell Parsons met in the late 1990s, they both wanted to make something happen in the email marketing space. Within 18 months they had brought their enterprising energies, minds and experience together – and created what is now Profusion. In 2016 a third maverick musketeer entered the play. Darren Robson – serial purposeful entrepreneur, executive coach, social innovator and now Profusion CEO – is the lead positive agitator on our adventure into global growth built on innovation, ethics, and humble excellence with purpose and drive.

We made a name for ourselves in CRM and email marketing. As the original UK partner for Adobe Campaign, we’ve nearly 20 years’ experience in data management, automation and customisation of enterprise data management. In 2009 we rebranded as Profusion. A few years later, as big data was emerging as the powerhouse of opportunity it is, we set up our own trailblazing data science team to take our services to a whole new level. Profusion is like that solid, steady team member that you’d want with you on your polar expedition. As we’re very capable technically and creatively, we’re wired to solve problems and treat challenges as opportunities. Our clients know we’ll respond quickly, keep our promises and take the lead in pushing through new ideas and initiatives. Relationships based on trust are the bottom line. We see our existing clients telling others about the work we’ve done for them and the impact it has made on their brand and their customers.
